A 10-year-old child was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a Saturday afternoon collision in Stittsville.

The child suffered injuries to their abdomen and leg, paramedics told CBC Ottawa, and was taken to CHEO, eastern Ontario's children's hospital.
Stittsville Main was closed between Hobin and Carp Road for a couple of hours, but it's now open.
