A 27-year-old man is dead after a house fire in Nobleford, Alta.
At 10:20 a.m. Saturday the fire department responded to a house fire on Milnes Street after a passerby spotted smoke, RCMP said in an emailed release.
RCMP said a 27-year-old man was found dead inside the home.
There were no other people home at the time, RCMP said.
The fire is now out. The back area of the home was the most damaged, RCMP said, and a neighbour's home also sustained heat damage.
The Calgary Medical Examiners Office will determine the cause of death, while the Coaldale Fire Department will determine the cause of the fire.
The investigation is ongoing, RCMP said, and anyone with information is asked to call Coaldale RCMP at 403-329-5080.
