Seven months ago, Dr. Brent Roussin took to the microphone in a lecture hall at the University of Manitoba's Bannatyne campus, trying to execute a gargantuan task: putting into words what he knew — and what he didn't know — about the novel coronavirus, which had yet to be reported in Manitoba.
