A rifle, full-loaded handguns and at least $250,000 in drugs were just some of what officers from Hamilton's Vice and Drug unit got off the streets in two days.
Hamilton Police wrote in a release the sting spurred from a fentanyl trafficking investigation in June 2019.
On Wednesday, the drug unit got a search warrant to enter a home on Bethune Avenue near Rymal Road East and Upper Centennial Parkway.
When officers entered the house, they say they found three men and rooms filled with drugs, cash and guns.
Here's what they found:
- Three loaded handguns
- Rifle
- 19 oz of fentanyl
- 25 oz of cocaine
- 9 oz of methamphetamine
- More than 100 xanax tablets
- Drug paraphernalia that police think would've been trafficked
- A money counter
Police think the drugs are worth at least $250,000.
Two men and one youth from Hamilton face multiple charges.
Stoney Creek drug bust
On Thursday, the Vice and Drug unit also carried out a warrant on Bradbury Road near Saltfleet High School in Stoney Creek.
Officers say they found a 23-year-old man with drugs he was going to sell.
After further searching, they also spotted a handgun hidden in the home.
He faces eight charges.
